May 21, 2011 Outdoor Competition                                                    Exhibit at the Festival

This past week we had a fun and educational experience with a camera that encodes 1000 frames per second! The purpose is to review in extreme detail the stance and technique of the archer in training. There are two quick movies below. Each movie is only a few seconds in real time. You get to watch the detail of each shot very carefully. In person and LIVE, the arrow seems to go straight to the target. I was surprised to see the arrow fish tail all the way to the target.
